Welcome to the 63rd!

My name is Leigh Ervine and I am a resident of the 63rd House of Delegates district in West Virginia.  I live in rural Berkeley County about ten minutes from the city of Martinsburg.

The purpose of this blog is bring forth different ideas to help make this County, State, and Country better.  Some of the ideas expressed here, you will agree with, while other ideas you will disagree with.  I want this blog to be an open, civil, and respectful place to air differing opinions.

Once I get going here, this blog will have links to the Office Holders who serve the 63rd, from the local level to the national level, and beyond.  It will also have links to Political Parties.  And during elections, it will have links to various Candidates.  I want this blog to be a useful tool for you.  Let me know if I miss any.

If you want your voice to be heard here, there are just a few rules.
  • 1.  Be civil - disagree with ideas and policy, but do not resort to name calling.
  • 2.  Be brief - none of us wants to read a novel here.  (and if you do, we can direct you to where you can find out more.)
  • 3.  Don't hog the spotlight - let others have a chance to have their say.

You can participate here two ways:
  • 1.  You can comment.  I will be moderating comments and will publish them as long as you are civil and post no links in your comments.
  • 2.  You can be a guest poster, as long as you are civil.  We can discuss what links are allowed and what links are not allowed.

Regardless of who you voted for yesterday, we are all citizens of this great Country.

I look forward to hearing from you!
